Welcome to the Enfield CKD November Newsletter:
It’s important as we go through Autumn that we still try and keep active as it’ll generally improve your mood. It is harder especially as the evenings are dark so please keep attending your classes and make time to practicing at home.
Please note that there will not be any classes running on Tuesday 1st November at Turkey St.
Finally be mindful of others and ensure that we keep each other safe by not attending class if you are at all unwell. 🙏🏽

Instructors Run Keeping Safe Sessions
In September the instructor team ran sessions for the Brownies and Scouts explaining how to keep safe including some basic close range techniques. We received great feedback from both groups on how useful they found the sessions. It was also lovely meeting one of our ex-students, Martin, in the scouts session. 😁

If you wear a T-Shirt under the uniform then the colour needs to match the uniform which for most students will be white.

Belts need to be tied correctly.

The Playwell site has a number of gloves. Below is an example with the CKD logo but any of a similar style will be permitted. Boxing gloves are not allowed.
The Playwell site has a number of boots. Below is an example with the CKD logo but either this style or the dipped foam style will be permitted. These are designed to be generally worn without shoes and the fit needs to ensure that the toes are always covered. If wearing shoes then a larger size will be needed plus adjustments will generally need to be made. Please discuss this with an instructor in class if you want to do this.
