😊 The new Wednesday family and beginners class starts on 5th September. The class will run 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Please let us know if you’re looking to come regularly to the Wednesday class instead of a Sunday or Tuesday class.
🏃 The Friday “T-FiT” class starts on 14th September. The class will run 7pm to 8pm….no formalities…just come in normal gym gear and get fit with other like minded individuals, £5 pay as you go. Your first class is free!
Leadership and Assistant Instructor Programs
Following up from last month’s article. The Senior Leadership Team and Instructor Liaison Officer will be continually assessing students to ensure that they are showing the appropriate behaviours and carrying out the agreed tasks for the program they are on, e.g. taking a warm up, putting together a lesson plan, etc.
The team will advise the student if they are not meeting their obligations. If the student is unable to meet the criteria then they will need to remain/return as a normal student in white uniform.
Fitness trackers
It’s quite common for people to wear fitness trackers whilst exercising like Fitbits, Moov Now, Samsung Gear Fit, Huawei Band, Garmin, Apple watch, etc. Some of these have hard edges which could hurt other students during defence drills or even break. We’re happy for them to be worn as long as they are securely covered by something like strapping or a sweatband.
Choi Kwang Do International App
Choi Kwang Do International have released an app for both iOS and Android devices. The login will be the same as the current student login details that you have though it’s currently disabled as the app is still being worked on.
Quiz
Enfield Choi Kwang Do warmly welcome you to our Hawaiian themed quiz night for both adults and children. Taking place at our Turkey Street venue on Saturday 22nd of September from 5pm onward.
We would like to see as many of you in Hawaiian themed outfits as possible!
You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. This is a free social event however we would appreciate a small donation to our preferred charity which can be made on the day. We hope you can join us to make this an enjoyable evening. Get revising!
